SSA Makes Online Banking Even More Secure

As part of our ongoing commitment to protect your personal information against identity theft, Online Banking customers must register for Sovereign Secure Access (SSA). This security feature:

• Distinguishes you, the true account owner, from those who might attempt to access your Online Banking information fraudulently
• Assures you that you are logging into the authentic Sovereign Bank Online Banking site

When you enter your Online Banking User ID, SSA will attempt to “recognize” your computer:

If it does, it will display the Personal Security Image and Phrase you chose during SSA registration, and prompt you to enter your Password.

If it doesn't, it will present a challenge question you selected during registration. Answer correctly and SSA will display your Personal Security Image and Phrase, and prompt you to enter your Password. You also have the opportunity to tell SSA to “remember” your computer.
